World Logging Championship (WLC) is a competition between foresters taking place usually every two years in different parts of the world. The main focus is placed on handling a chainsaw well. Participants are evaluated on their speed, quality, and safety in each discipline. ==History==
* The first competition was organized by former Yugoslavia and Hungary in 1970. * The 27th competition was held on 16–19 August 2006 year in Estonia. Among the teams a winner was Estonian team ahead of Italy and Germany teams. * From 2–6 October 2008, the 28th World Logging Championship was held in Germany. Winner was Germany the second was Switzerland and the third was Liechtenstein * The 29th WLC was held on 23–27 September 2010 in Zagreb, Croatia
